Kallio wins, Doni Finish 19th

Pembalap Finlandia, Mika Kallio memperbesar peluang meraih gelar juara kelas 250 cc dengan kemenangan di  Inggris, Minggu (22/6). Dalam lomba di Sirkuit Donington Park ini, Kallio mencatat waktu 42 menit 14.410 detik. Ia mengatasi pesaing terdekatnya dari Italia, Marco Simoncelli yang terpaut 0,353 detik.

Posisi ketiga ditempati oleh pembalap asal Spanyol, Alvaro Bautista. Pembalap Mapfre Aspar Team ini terpaut 1,273 detik di belakang Kallio. Pembalap asal Indonesia yang memperkuat tim Yamaha Pertamina, Doni Tata Pradita masuk finis di urutan ke-19. Ia terpaut satu lap di belakang Kallio. Doni mencatat waktu tempuh 43 menit 0,6332 detik dengan kecepatan rata-rata 145,593 kilometer per jam.

Kallio: Goodbye KTM, MotoGP Welcome
